ICC UNDER 19 WORLD CUP - PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT
ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup is a biennial cricket tournament organized by International Cricket Council headquartered at Dubai, UAE. The first edition was conducted in 1988 as Youth World Cup. The tournament was not staged again until 1998. From 1988, the World Cup is being conducted as a biennial event.
Player of the tournament was not awarded for first two editions of the event. From 2000 it is being awarded on a regular basis. The first recipient of the award was Yuvraj Singh of India. Most recipients were from India (5) followed by New Zealand and South Africa with two each and Bangladesh and Zimbabwe one each.
